Rotafab is seeking a hard working & enthusiastic team member for the position of 1st Class Manual Machinist at our Wurruk facility.
Role
Completing custom machining orders from one-off large-scale jobs to repetitive production orders, from creation & repair, to supply the oil & gas, power, and marine industries.
This is a permanent full time position.
Responsibilities
- General manual machining, including lathes and milling machines
- Recording and documenting completed work
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
Requirements
- Trade qualification
- Strong background in all aspects of manual machining (advanced lathe and milling operations)
- Experienced in the operation of a manual horizontal borer (preferred)
- Experience in mechanical fitting (desired)
- Ability to measure and work from samples and/or technical drawings
- Ability to work to tight tolerances
- Driver’s license
- Forklift license (preferred)
