Rotafab is seeking a competent & motivated team member for the position of draftsperson at our Wurruk facility.
Role
Creating, altering, and reviewing detailed electronic plans/drawings utilising AutoCAD and Inventor for our clients in the oil and gas, power, and marine industries. Provide support to the HSEQ team with jobs set up, finalisation, compilation, and reporting.
This is a permanent full time position.
Responsibilities
- Develop shop detail drawings from engineering models, client construction drawings, or hand sketched drawings
- Operate in accordance with Australian building codes, regulations, standards, and ISO9001 requirements
- Review and perform redline mark-ups and redraws
- Work closely with operation employees to ensure the transfer of design specifications to the manufacturing process
- Assist with job pack set, review, and final compilation as required
Requirements
- Experience in AutoCAD and Inventor
- Proficiency in drawing and developing drawings to engineering specifications
- Ability to draw/sketch by hand
- Knowledge of isometric drawings
- Drivers license
- Excellent computer skills
