Health & Safety Policy
At Rotafab, we are committed to the Health and Safety of all employees. It is the responsibility of Rotafab Management, facilitated initially by Top Management, to fulfil this commitment. Top Management has a duty to maintain, so far as is practicable, a safe working environment, removing where possible all risks to Health and Safety. Rotafab achieves this assurance through:
- Providing and maintaining safe plant machinery and equipment.
- Providing and monitoring safe working systems and procedures.
- Ensuring that all employees are competent and properly prepared before they undertake a task.
- Establishing measurable objectives and targets to ensure continual improvement aimed at elimination of work-related injury and illness.
- Identifying and understanding the health and safety hazards inherent to the activities we undertake and effectively assessing, controlling, and managing those risks.
- Providing adequate equipment and resources to protect the welfare of all employees on Rotafab work sites.
- Complying with all relevant legislation, regulations, standards, and codes of practice that are applicable to this organisation.
- Providing safety-training programs, information and supervision for all Rotafab staff and employees.
- Maintaining consultation and participation of all employees including work group representatives in the development, planning, implementation and evaluation of health and safety.
Rotafab Management is responsible for implementing and monitoring of this policy.
Health and safety duties of the Safety Committee shall be detailed in company procedures.
It is the responsibility of Top Management and the Safety Committee to hold regular consultations with employee work groups to ensure that this Safety Policy is operating correctly and that all Health and Safety issues are addressed regularly.
It is the duty of Rotafab to recognise hazards occurring both current and foreseeable within the workplace and take practicable steps to provide and maintain a safe and healthy environment for employees.
Environmental Policy
At Rotafab, we recognise our responsibility to meet customer expectations and are committed to the continuous improvement of our environmental performance. We consider environmental protection and sustainability to be both a management obligation and the responsibility of every employee. Rotafab achieve environmental assurance by:
- Developing ways to reduce, recover, recycle, or re-use waste in all aspects of our business, including considering and integrating environmental factors in our decision-making process.
- Identifying opportunities for the prevention and reduction of pollution, including climate-modifying emissions, and implementing energy efficiency programs throughout the business.
- Providing and monitoring environmental systems and procedures.
- Identifying and understanding the environmental hazards inherent to the activities we undertake and effectively assessing, controlling, and managing those risks.
- Complying with all legal requirements and standards applicable to our activities.
- Establishing measurable objectives and targets to ensure continual improvement aimed at improving our environmental performance.
- Providing employees with training and information necessary for them to understand what the impacts of their activities are, and to enable them to work in an environmentally responsible and competent manner.
Rotafab Management is responsible for implementing and monitoring of this policy.
Rotafab shall ensure that all incidents are investigated; specifically identifying the contributing factors and implementing remedial actions to prevent reoccurrence.
It is the responsibility of Top Management to communicate this policy to employees and interested stakeholders, and report on our environmental performance openly and transparently.
Quality Policy
At Rotafab, we provide products and services that satisfy our customer needs and expectations for performance, safety, and reliability. All employees of Rotafab conduct our business with a primary commitment to our customers and their requirements.
Rotafab achieves this by:
- Recognising our customer’s demands and expectations.
- Ensuring that our policy and procedures reflect what we fundamentally do.
- Ensuring timely delivery of products and services.
- Making continuous improvement of our processes and systems whilst providing compliance to customer, and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Ensuring all employees and contractor personnel are appropriately competent and trained.
Rotafab Top Management is responsible for the implementing and monitoring of this Policy.
Quality duties are detailed in company procedures.
When considering quality aspects of an activity, we must also identify and consider the risks to the health and safety of people engaged in such work, or the potential of damage to the environment because of activities undertaken by Rotafab. We shall ensure that we put in place measures to eliminate or mitigate identified risks to an acceptable level.
It is the responsibility of Top Management and the Quality representatives to hold regular consultations with employee work groups to ensure that this Quality Policy is operating correctly and that all quality issues are addressed regularly.
